5 miserable miles on the TM tonight. I could tell that I am still sick because I had to keep stopping and walking. But 5 miles with walks interspersed is better than no miles at all.

Debba, glad you like the acupuncture.  I did it to help with infertility, which it did nothing for, but it did help with back pain. 

Meri, I hope the therapy helps too.

I ended up with pink hair this time.  Not nearly as subtle as the purple was, but that is what I wanted...enough of a pop to notice.  Maybe I can get a picture tomorrow in the sunlight.  The kids were a bit off today.  David was constantly complaining about his belly hurting & he didn't want to eat.  Rachel wanted to be held all day...which is sweet but my goodness holding/carrying a 30lb lump sure makes my arms & back hurt.  With all of that, I've not eaten well today.

So the last day of eating not so well and no time for exercise is over.  My friend/colleague goes home tomorrow afternoon -- we'll probably go out for lunch tomorrow but at least I'll get a run in.  I wasn't too bad...I got my period so it was kind of nice to give in to the snacking urges at a time when they were worst and get past it.

I have no idea how or why the acupuncture is working, all I know is I've been off my Zyrtec for 10 days now and I feel fine, even with allergen counts being in the moderate to high range.

Plus, I get to doze for like 45 minutes.

Debba- my girlfriend has been seeing me for allergies and she is off all her meds and doing amazing. When I got acupuncture regularly, i was off all my meds too, for years, and i used to take 2 pills, 1 nose spray, and an inhaler.

Just got back from getting my temporary crown fixed. sigh.

Meri, that's awesome. I'm really excited about being off the Zyrtec. I'm still using the Nasonex, because, well, I'm paranoid, but I'm hoping to wean off that soon. I've also noticed a huge energy increase since starting acupuncture. It's amazing.

I've been pinning some healthy tasty summer stuff on my food board on pinterest lately...  I'll have to try some of them out now, and let y'all know how they are.  They sure look tasty in the pictures.

i just finished my second run and i should really be walking out the door to work......... my neighbor is a bike mechanic for a professional bike team and wanted to show me how they mount pro bikes, did not want to tell him i have no interest in biking, but he is so super nice

Well, I just got back from a great lunch with Lizard Mixture followed by a walk along the Greenway and a massage.  Feeling pretty good today....it must have been the hair because I got asked for ID when I ordered some wine!  Seriously, what 32 year old would have pink hair?  I did give her a nice tip.   

As for the hair - Courtney, I had it done professionally the first time but decided to try it myself this time because I've always colored my hair (with DH's help).  I went by what I had done at the salon previously... I re-bleached the hair a little harsher than the stylist did and then put the pink onto it.  Time consuming and messy but I like the results.  The pink stains *everything* though.

OMG!!!  I love that.  Can you buy pink dye at the drug store?  Does it come with the bleach stuff and instructions?

Do you bleach it first so it will take the color? 

Dear lord, how I need bright purple in my hair right.this.instant.  I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED. 

Speaking of food...  I'm not a giant yogurt fan.  But I found some yoplait light that I like.  Raspberry Lemonade.  It's oddly delicious!
