Gah.  I wore my running skirt yesterday thinking it would make me run.  Nope.  Today I've had on full running gear- bra included and I still took a 2 hr nap after eating Oreo cookies.   :nono:  :sigh:

Alright... I did 4 miles on the treadmill.  It was a super sucky run.  It has not helped my mojo.

I'm gonna find a race to train for in hopes that it will help.

Bolloxd, can you run in the early morning when it's cooler?  I haven't managed to do that yet, but maybe you can and it will help?

Did a longer Zumba workout last night, probably pushed myself as far as I could go.  Some knee pain and ankle stiffness, but no real problems.   Not  full hour yet, but maybe next week.

Still absurdly hungry.  Brought a larger-than-usual salad in the hopes of avoiding the snack machines and the ramen cups.

Good news: the skirt I wore constantly last summer needs to be taken in about two inches.  Time for the tailor!

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

She's an awful, awful human being.

I tend to trust Mini on these issues
Mini is so smart!

Yay Mini!

Diablita, on days I manage to get up early & run I do enjoy it.  Recently I've been staying up late at night - 12 or 1 am.  That totally ruins my chances of an early morning run.  The late nights mean I need/want a mid-day nap which then means I don't get tired again til late.  On days I skip a nap, for some reason, I *still* stay up late.  I need to discipline myself.

I'm currently sitting down to figure out a meal plan since that meant we ate better.  Also our budget is tightening so we have to cut back on our quick trips through the drive-thru.

I could have sworn I was eating like crap this week, but I'm creeping down.

Still on vacation - terrified of what the scale will say Sunday morning. Gaaaah. I guess the good news is that all the clothes I brought still fit!

Debba, enjoy!

While I at almost three slices of bad pizza yesterday, I didn't eat dinner. So I think calorically it might have evened out somewhat, even if it was a nutritional disaster.

I'm hoping for linguini with clams for dinner! Mmmmm, linguini...

Courtney

Debba, I hope you are enjoying Vail!  :)

I have been snacking in the evenings, boredome snacking it seems, on stuff that is packing calories in like crazy.  Must.stop.

rocketgirl

I had two margaritas and chips with guacamole for dinner.  Then was hungry later and had some cheese and crackers.

Lunch out today at a coffee/sandwich place.  And dinner out tonight, but I don't know where yet.  And lunch and dinner out tomorrow.   :panic:

But I was down a little more yesterday morning, so...

My scale measures to the 10th of a pound!  So even .1 down is down.   :>D:

Love. It. Wish I didn't have to go home tomorrow! Let's just not talk about calories consumed, though. :yikes:

I saw a new number on the scale this morning! Woot!

Now, to make it last until Monday. The weekends are usually when I let go of austerity a bit, with a couple of glasses of wine or some such.

diablita

Way to go, VP!  I'm not feeling so hot so I'm not running today, but not eating much either. But I did snack on something indecent last night (choc covered macadamias. Ugh).

My DD has a birthday party at 3 at the home of friends who put out lots of snacks. If I'm up for going, will have to take willpower with me.

So, we're home. I hopped on the scale while I was unpacking, and honestly, not too shabby! I'll know more tomorrow morning for sure, but I was under my self-imposed limit this afternoon, so I *should* be well under that limit in the morning for my "real" weigh-in.  :nails:
