Have you ever checked to see if you have fibroid tumors?  My periods were so heavy I went through a super plus in 20 minutes some times.. Because what happens is the blood pools around the tumor on top or whatever.. and then all of a sudden decides to gush out.
i just recently had a vaginal ultrasound and there were no fibroids (just a semi stuck IUD) on that.

I sure bitch a lot in here but I am frustrated. Now on top of my back hurting I am sick. I wanted to call in sick today but my experiment just started up yesterday aand I have to fix some problems I encountered (I feel like an engineer trying to design this stuff). No exercise for me. :(

Feel better soon, Magic!

My period has me feeling like the fat lady at the circus.  And of course that makes me want to eat.   >:(

I had to take a long hard look at the dress I was planning to wear today, and concluded it's too short.  2 inches above the knee just isn't work appropriate.  Sigh.  Maybe I can pull it off in winter with tights.

Shut up mini. Just because google changed it, doesn't mean in elementary school, we got it wrong.

Tennis last night. It's been cold and windy in the evenings. I think I need to get some wind-proof running tights. My running is suffering this week. Hopefully tonight.

My period turns me into a bottomless pit. Whenever I find myself wanting to stuff everything in sight into my mouth, I realize that I'm pmsing. But, then, if I give into the urge I find that I spend the next 3 weeks eating like it's going out of style.

really????

I would wear that, in fact, I do wear that a lot.  But it probably depends on how tall a person is, etc.  There are dresses that I swear are the same length that don't seem work appropriate, and others do.  But certainly with tights in the winter, it should be fine.  :)

Mini, your post made me thing of this funny thing I saw on Pinterest the other day!  :D

Home sick today. Had to work late yesterday in order to pull it off but it is totally worth it. My head is killing me.

1.  The dress I'm wearing today is about 3 inches above the knee.  Sitting, it's at mid-thigh.  I'm behind a desk all day.  It probably wouldn't be appropriate for sitdown meetings though. Although initially I had a training class I was going to at lunch that got cancelled.  I'm 5'8".  Everything is always a little short.  I don't worry to much about it.  Besides, the dress I'm wearing today is really fabulous.  It's a bit Jackie O and the fit is just perfect.  And I'm going to an alumni reception after work.

And now that you've had me looking at my legs, I realize they have a lot of bruises on them.
Ellen stole my joy and I want it back!

Even in private school we were allowed 10cm above the knee for our kilts  :D

For me, yes.  If I was still 35, I'd probably feel more comfortable in that length.

I always thought if you stood up and put your arms at your side, it should be below your fingertips.

I met MoS for lunch and pigged out on salad bar, yes that is possible, but atleast i found the FF dressing this time.

Same here - without tights that feels too short to me. I'm not that tall, but still...when I sit down it would definitely be too short. But with tights and boots, probably fine. I walk up and down school staircases a lot, am in and out of the car all day, and am sitting in classrooms and moving around with students. No way I'd take a chance of flashing anyone behind me, below me on the stairs, etc.

So, question for y'all.

If you missed it, I'm knocked up - it's very early, but I'm very definitely knocked up.

I'm still crazy overweight, though, so apparently my goal during pregnancy is to maintain in the first trimester, and then gain 11-20 pounds in the 2nd and 3rd.

I've never maintained in my *life.* Right now, I'm still following WW, but I'm not sure if I can switch to maintenance mode for the duration of the pregnancy or what.

Any ideas on how to handle this? I gained.... uhhhh.... 35 pounds with Reid. A lot of it was fluid, but I can also say I wasn't making the best possible choices. I love that websites say "maintain!" but then don't give any tips on how to do that!

Help!

I gained 38lbs with DD eating really well and exercising regularly. My friend gains about 60-80 lbs per pregnancy, no matter what she did.

Yeah, but I'm way fatter than you, since you are not fat, so I have to be extra-careful with the weight. :-\
