I think it was starting to turn into the original thread all over again - or was heading that way. Maybe? That was my guess, at least.

Hi there!  Just checking in to see how you're doing.  I need a nap but can't fall asleep.

I've been really good about not snacking at night (other than a fruit or TJ's 100 cal chocolate bar) and the anesthesia bloat is going away so the scale is closer to where it should be.  But this no working out thing is killing me.  F/u appointment on Monday; hopefully the big bandages will come off my arm so I can use it again.

Want to work out, but it's supposed to be in the high 20s/low 30s the next few mornings. Uhhhhh. No thanks. (I know, I'm a wimp.)

Any options for a back-up workout plan if the weather is a deterrent? Something else you can do? I know I'm working up a very intimate relationship with the treadmill in the basement, personally - now that it's colder and darker when I'm working out, and the weather has been lousy lately.

If you don't have anything like that at home or at a gym, is there a video or something you can use to work out inside?

The gym doesn't open early enough for me to go in the mornings, or I'd do that. I could attempt a dvd, but it's a crapshoot on whether or not it would wake up Reid - our house is tiny and his room opens onto the living room, and is next door to the office, so it's 50/50 on waking him up.

I might try the dvd idea - I can do some prenatal yoga, which should be pretty quiet.

Hope it works out to do the DVD or something...even a quick 20 minutes or something would make you happy for having done it.  :)

Then I don't know WTF to do next!!!

I skipped this morning. DH woke up at 3, the dog woke up at 4, freaking out over our smoke detector chirping - don't know why, but it scares her to death when it does that - yeah, there was no way I was going to make a 5 AM workout. Will attempt again tomorrow!

The clementines are finally here!  I finally have a nervous munching food that isn't a million calories.

Headed to the gym in a little while for a boxing work out.

I don't have time for laundry; I'm trying to have a great life.

Yeah, I bought some last week and they were so good! I hate when you are excited to eat them and they are blah.

Gah!!! Just opened up my "pineapple" yogurt, stirred it up good, and took a big bite.

....yeah, that's actually lemon-flavored yogurt. Dammit!

I like the lemon liberte yogurt.  I tried the chobani blood orange though and the grainy pulpy texture made me gag.

Yeah, chobani. I got through it, and it's not like someone forced me to eat sushi or something, but it's not an experience I'd want to repeat. Then again, I liked the blood orange flavor.

I tried that too, and threw it away.  Nasty.

I like the lemon Liberte, too.  Sorry about the disappointment, debba

So I have my right arm back!  :w00t:  I have a smaller bandage covering the graft and can't run for a week or two but I can start walking.  And I can bend it.  I'm so, so happy.
