don't really think it is necessary though the rolling pin looks nice and slick.

I think it looks pretty slick, too.

However, I got The Bread Baker's Apprentice for Christmas and I'm on my way to becoming a purist.   :P

I just pulled a fresh loaf of rosemary bread out of the oven, we made it per DD's request  :heartbeat:

If I were in the market for a rolling pin, I might consider it.  But as it is I use my rolling pin for rolling out my IT band more than for baking, so I'm probably not the target market for this product.

You could put Icy Heat in the four duster.  :P

The Turtle Whisperer

I suck at baking, but I saw something on Americas Test Kitchen that lead me to believe a lot of bakers prefer a tapered rolling pin.
People put a lot less effort into picking apart evidence that confirms what they already believe.

Puppet-free since 09/21/05.

no, i wouldn't.  i like my massive french rolling pin.  rolling pins with handles irritate me.

That website is so fun!

I think that rolling pin looks like something my mom would buy for me, and I would never use. I would pack it away with my cookie gun.

I don't need this product but I do love my cookie press.

Eco Ellen

That looks like a total pain in the ass to clean.  So you fill it with flour every time you want to use it?

Run Amok

No, I wouldn't. It looks really flimsy and I really don't ever have an issue with flouring a board. But, I'm not really a baker.

sweetie darling

Fine.

DON'T buy it  >:(

Just sit there in your pajama jeans, WaxVacing your damn ears ...  >:(
