If I were in the market for a rolling pin, I might consider it. But as it is I use my rolling pin for rolling out my IT band more than for baking, so I'm probably not the target market for this product.

I suck at baking, but I saw something on Americas Test Kitchen that lead me to believe a lot of bakers prefer a tapered rolling pin.

I think that rolling pin looks like something my mom would buy for me, and I would never use. I would pack it away with my cookie gun.

No, I wouldn't. It looks really flimsy and I really don't ever have an issue with flouring a board. But, I'm not really a baker.
