Tinkoff is negotiating with Hagen Das. That's right -- Hagen Das and Sagan could be on the same team. That *might* work out to something awesome in one day races. Basso renewed for two years.

I've just only heard rumors so far but nothing confirmed. I think the bike part is a done deal but I think the Cannondale team members' fate is yet to be determined. Sagan and his little brother are going to Tinkoff. Ted King does not have a contract.

I'd love to see Ted at Garmin.

Cyclingnews has an official announcement. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/garmin-sharp-and-cannondale-join-forces-for-2015] http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/garmin-sharp-and-cannondale-join-forces-for-2015

So Vaughters has offers out to 8 Cannondale riders with existing contracts. Plus he's talking to Ted King.  :)  That would mean that 8 or so Garmin riders will not be back next year. Millar is retiring. Is Danielson retiring? I'm guessing Farrar's contract will not be renewed. Cannondale would also be putting a bunch of riders on the market. This is going to be a major shake up.

Me, too. Now I want to go back to calling Vino "He who must not be named". You guys noticed that Kazakhstan paid him $50,000 for that win, right? It's toward the end of the article. I want him suspended and Astana to go find a clean DS. I suspect that team of being dirty more than any other.

Lampre is not renewing Cunego's contract.

This could make the Vuelta interesting and not in a good way. He's supposed to be riding in support of Horner but will want to make a show in order to get attention and a new contract. Do you guys have any feel for him as a teammate? Will he be a professional and support Horner?

Yes.  I want to believe Astana is now on the up and up but Vino's presence makes me nervous.

DH will be happy if he never hears Phil or Paul say The Little Prince again!   :D

He kinda reminds me more of that smug little shit, Draco Malfoy

Except Malfoy "repented" in the last book and help Potter. Vino shows no sign of remorse.

Speaking of the Texan, there is a two? part interview with him at CNN.  I read part one earlier this week.

Vaughters is piecing together Team Garmin Cannondale. It looks like Danielson is staying. There is still a whole lot to figure out.

I also read yesterday that Team Alonso is happening. They have their license application in to the UCI. If they recruit riders with enough points they could actually be ProTour -- but that's pretty iffy.

Green argyle?

I wonder if he'll drop the orange.

The second one's not too horrible

Now picture it with the dark green criss-cross lines changed to orange. I hope Vaughters drops the orange.
