9 miles including 2xmile at tempo pace, which I really didn't think I could manage, but I did.

3 miles easy. I was thinking about jumping into a half marathon at the last minute, but just didn't have the gumption. It was cheap, just over an nour drive time, and pretty good weather conditions, and still I just couldn't get out of bed. crap.

Good miles everybody.

Arrojo

Ran an unknown distance for 55 minutes.  Despicably hot and humid.

Sofa king hot! 21 on Nashua River Rail Trail...actually walked two of 'em after I ran out of water and Gatorade.

Handsome Jack

6 mile OK run then 2 mile walk back home.

Sunny, hot, humid. I kept thinking, "If Jaguar Paw can run well in this weather why can't I?"

Bird in hand half marathon.. Brutal.. I probably walked half of it.. At least 50 people treated for heat exhaustion http://lancasteronline.com/news/local/more-than-runners-treated-for-heat-exhaustion-at-bird-in/article_36df924e-35d4-11e4-9e17-0017a43b2370.html

I can't do heat an humidity.  I gave myself heat exhaustion a couple of weeks ago at only a short distance - was faint after mile 2.  BP really low, HR high.

One of our running group was taken to the er.. My daughter, who was way ahead of me saw a few runners collapse and taken away in ambulance... I just really scaled back because not worth it to me, not a goal race and I didn't want to take any chances

#17
5k time trial. 22:51
Season best by 30 seconds.
The last two times I went after it I shut down at 2 miles because of heat or breathing problems (throat closing)
I really thought I could do 22:30, but not today. Almost makes up for the half marathon I ditched today.

Fastest 5k since my all time PR in October 2010,
or my closing split in my all time 10k later that month.
In that 10k I opened with 22:54 and close with 22:33.

Good miles everybody.

3.25 trail. Was going to do another loop but we went and had breakfast instead.

Fast Eddie

Three for me too, but in kilometer, not miles.  Right hams/glutes are acting up.
