A little over four miles and some strides. It was 55°F and a little breezy but the sun was great.

Feeling pretty ready for my 5K Saturday.

I did another double, that's three days in a row. 3.3 mile shakeout run this morning (icy cold, frost on the grass) and 7.7 this afternoon with a challenging surge-tempo-surge workout (4.2 miles of that).

Little tired from work. Walk commute 3K each way. Got out at dusk for easy 5K.

2 mile warm up, 12x200 meter at descending pace w/200 meter jog, and a 2 mileish cool down. 7.1 miles total.

I intended on doing 16 repeats but I chose the wrong time of day to go, it was full sun and 83°F. Got some heat acclimation! Lol

8.6K or 5.3 miles. Cool with light showers.

Did you see 2027 London Marathon has smashed its own ballot record, with an incredible 1,338,544 people throwing their names into the hat for next year's race.  :e)

That's a massive jump from last year's previous high of 1,133,813 applications.

Saturday and Sunday marathons weekend might be the way to go.

I didn't think of it until I got home, but instead of running 3 miles today I should've run 5 in honor of Cinco de Mayo. Oh, life's missed opportunities..

At least warm short sleeved weather again. Body feeling beat up working and Aid Station at the Toronto Marathon yesterday. Did dozen and dozens of squats and bend overs collecting thousands of used cup and discard gel packs, slinging water and electrolyte canisters, tables and boxes of cups.
