My boy has never seen a James Bond movie.

Started at the beginning with 'Dr. No'.

Well, Twilight Zone is an old show, but it passes the test. The twist at the end of each episode is often silly, but still has the ability to occasionally supreeze.

somehow i manage to see an episode I've never seen before with every syfy new year's marathon.
The scientific consensus might, of course, be wrong. If the history of science teaches anything, it is humility. But our grandchildren will surely blame us if they find that we understood the reality of climate change and failed to do anything about it.

Each episode is 24 minutes long so minimal time investment, unless you binge watch.

I usually watch two or three a night.

We just started Lawrence of Arabia, but there's no way I'm staying up late enough to see the whole thing.

That's a four hour movie, shiver me timbers.

Great main theme, it conjures images of an endless dune sea.

I still think The Unforgiven and The Outlaw Josey Wales are tied with Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid as the best westerns ever made. But I haven't seen many of the classic westerns from the 50s and 60s.

DD#2 and I just watched "Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid".  One of my favorites.  DD#2 was only half watching as she was doing homework at the time.  She said it was ok.  I told her to watch it paying attention.  Don't know if she has it in her.  Maybe.  She loved '1917'.

I watched The Patriot on Netflix. That movie is officially a downer. I forgot how dark the movie was

I have actually seen most of "Birth of a Nation" several years ago.  I had heard about it, and I guess I had to see it with my own eyes.  I guess there are things you can't unsee.  It was terrible.  Had no redeeming qualities unless you were a member of the KKK.  I suspect if the "talkies" fad take hold, this thing will fade away.

The Patriot is basically Braveheart with muskets.
We were soldiers is Braveheart with helicopters.

PWWP

Now I'm watching Silence of the Lambs.

Stay away from the glass, Clarice.
