The two sequels to Unbreakable: Glass, and Split. They weren't bad.

I loved the ending of Split, we saw it in the theater and I hadn't seen any spoilers. Can't wait to see what's next.

I saw a pirate copy of Glass online. Split is actually a bit better, James Macavoy has more screen time in Split and it was a fairly brilliant performance in that film.

Yes, he was fantastic in Split! I have been meaning to watch Glass, I missed it in the theater.

So Glass isn't on Netflix, or HBO, you can watch it here.

Laptop works better than phone, not as many pop ups, don't worry about viruses, it's all hype.

My personal favorite part of M Knight Shamalamadingdong's movies is recognizing the locations around Philly

"I know where that is ... I know where that is ... so where are they?"

His cameos in his own movies are cringeworthy though.

Sitting Bull

Network. Faye Dunaway's best role as the amoral TV producer. Unfortunately TV news has gotten even much worse than the movie predicted.

Sitting Bull

Town Without Pity. Kirk Douglas and a German town prosecute the victim of a rape by 4 American soldiers.

A bad movie and bad acting:

Have you considered what, or who, was the impetus for watching such bad acting? Or is watching bad acting making you a bad actor? Never a good thing when da teechur knows yer name on the first day! :nono:

I always sit in the front row, so the teacher will get to know me.

Not a movie (I don't have that kind of attention span :D ), but thanks to the book I'm currently reading*, I discovered the "coffee achievers" ads from the 80s!

*The Problem With Everything by Meghan Daum. Not likely to be a hit in the Perpetual Book Recs thread, but I'm enjoying it.

I always thought of that ad with Bowie, you should sub-in cocaine for coffee.

I have zero recollection of those ads! The 80s are like some long-ago era... but now I'm gonna start referring to myself as a coffee achiever!

I remember them well. But i always thought the lyric to that song was "Hold on tight to your train!" instead of the actual "Hold on tight to your dream"

We watched Clue last night.  It was pretty terrible, but the kids seemed to like it.  Particularly the multiple endings.
I've been doing this how long?
