Checked out The Long Haul as part of my snow day with my kid. I laughed, I cried. What can I say, I've been a fan off the Heffley family's misadventures through all the books and the previous movies with different actors (the original Greg is probably old enough to have a family of his own by now ). Because this is a not-to-be missed cinematic gem, I won't spoil the fun—will the Heffleys make it to Meemaw's in time for her 90th birthday party? Will Greg make it to the comic con he wants to go to? Will Manny have to give up his pig?

Then I helped some of the oldsters at a nearby 55+ housing shovel out their cars. I'm ready to stop movie-ing and resume real life...until Xmas break!
